The session will be conducted via Zoom teleconference, where participants can see one another (optional, or voice only, online or by telephone). KLTC Spring Teleconference Training

Tuesday, May 5, 2020

10:00 -11:00 a.m.

“Ask-An-Expert” with David Allen

We hope you saw the announcement of our next training session in our first Kentucky Land Trusts Coalition e-Newsletter. Many thanks to Ben Miles, of Shire Environmental and KLTC Executive Committee member, for putting the newsletter together and sending it out on April 7.

The KLTC Executive Committee regrets being unable to provide an in-person training session, as it affords our members a special opportunity to network and exchange ideas and build relationships. But this is no longer possible during a pandemic, so we are offering a virtual training opportunity. This first session will only be a little over an hour to keep it manageable.

On May 5, “Cinco de Mayo” from 10:00 -11:00 a.m., KLTC presents

“Ask-An-Expert” with David Allen, of Development for Conservation,

https://developmentforconservation.com

a well-known and respected presenter at the Land Trust Alliance Rally. David will address fundraising in a pandemic and current fundraising news.  His program will be composed of 20-30 minutes of presentation. The remainder of the hour is an interactive Q&A session

The session will be conducted via a Zoom teleconference, where participants can see one another (optional, or voice only). The Zoom program is being provided courtesy of the LTA Southeast Office of the Eastern Division, and Kelly Presley will provide us with the necessary connection information and instructions the week before our May 5 training. After the session with David Allen, we will continue the Zoom meeting for 20 minutes for KLTC members to exchange information and ideas. No preregistration is required, you can just respond to the Zoom invitation when Kelly Presley sends it out.

Hope to you can join us on May 5!
